BPOC – abordare prin prisma noilor ghiduri internationale

Bronhopneumopatia obstructivă cronică (BPOC) este o boală caracterizată prin limitarea fluxului de aer care e incomplet reversibilă. Limitarea este progresivă şi se asociază cu un răspuns inflamator anormal al plămânului la particule nocive sau noxe. Această definiţie propusă de GOLD (Global initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease) aduce o abordare nouă prin prisma acceptării caracterului incomplet reversibil şi accentuează latura inflamatorie a acestei patologii.
